For maintainers

Your project, your call.

Forkpad never asks you to sign up. Add one file to the root of your repository and we’ll respect it every time someone tries to draft a launch with your project’s name on it.

  1. Open to launches

    "launches": "allow"

    Anyone can draft a launch for your project. You’ll still see every draft that names your repo.

  2. Ask first

    "launches": "ask"

    Drafts are allowed but marked as needing your blessing, and your contact link is shown to every drafter.

  3. No launches

    "launches": "disallow"

    Forkpad refuses to save any draft that names your repository. Your project stays fully explorable.

  • launches: allow, ask or disallow. Without a file, Forkpad treats the stance as undeclared and tells drafters to ask you.
  • contact (optional): a URL where people should reach you.
  • note (optional): up to 280 characters shown on your project page.
